Cody Thompson (he/him)

Cody is the Co-Founder and Director of Disability Events Community. He loves bringing people together, building new ideas and creating events that genuinely make a difference. You’ll usually find him chatting with exhibitors, meeting attendees or coming up with the next place DEC should visit.

Anna is the one who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From keeping the team organised to creating our content and managing our socials, she wears plenty of hats! Creative, organised and always across what’s happening, Anna helps bring DEC to life both at our events and online.

Corey is all about getting the right people in the room. He works closely with providers, organisations and local communities to make sure our expos have a great mix of stallholders and plenty of the local community coming through the doors. For Corey, it’s all about making connections that count.

Our resident Kiwi who calls Queensland home, Micharla is all about community and connection. On expo day, you’ll rarely find her standing still — she’s usually running around, chatting with stallholders, welcoming attendees and making sure everyone is having a great day.

From being the first to respond to emails, to making sure stallholders have the information they need for event day, Sarah is always there to lend a hand. From managing compliance and collecting insurances to booking venues and organising coffee vans (arguably the most important part!), Sam helps take the guesswork out of event day.
